Time for a fun quiz...how will you do??

 Toss or Save

It seems every time I turn around, I have to make a decision.  Let's see how well you know me!

Emily made this in maybe second grade.  The head is loose, the wings fell off, and the glitter is all gone.  There is no recycling number on the bottom of the dish soap bottle.

So....did I save it or toss it?

Next items:  I can stare into the sun because I am wearing special solar eclipse viewing glasses!!  I have 12 pair of them for the next solar eclipse.
And there is my 30 plus root beer bottle collection to deal with.
So, did I toss these or save em?

Save or toss....This one is actually cheating a little.  The hat is Julia's, but the mis-matched crutches are mine.  So, what did I do with these?
Toss them or save them??

Nothing like a couple of busty mugs to slack your thirst.  Terry Camplain and I actually did drink beer out of these once.  And the candelabra?  Not exactly Liberace quality.  What did I do with these items???
Toss them or save them?

Remember Santa's Village in East Dundee?  How about the Mickey Mouse  exercise record.  Well, I not only remember, them, I had proof of their existence!!
Toss or save?

The breakfast of champions!!  Olympics team, a hologram and Michael Jordan in his return.  And no, the boxtops are no longer valid.  So, did my hoarding this could be worth something someday mentality take over or did I
 Toss or save??

Please wait....I have to make a call.
Toss it or save it??

Well, there you have it.  These are items I had to deal with today.  As many of you know, I am boarder line hoarder...so parting with pocket lint is difficult.
Here's what happened:soap bottle doll.....tossedsolar viewing glasses....tossedroot beer bottle collection...tossedsombrero.....well, sending to Juliacrutches...are you kidding?  with my health...saved!breast mugs...definitely a savecandelabra....a saveSanta's Village sign....tossedMickey record jacket...tossedWheaties boxes....tossedBag phone....will be tossed.Actually, tossed is maybe the wrong word....most of these can be recycled, which they will be.  And folks, this is the tip of the iceberg.  Much thanks to Emily for taking the wonderful pictures and making me downsize my hoard.
And let me know how you did....might have nifty prize for you!!

  1. I did pretty good, except I thought "recycle" or "donation" for several instead of "toss" ... but I said you would have kept the soap bottle doll. : ) Taking pictures of stuff like that allows me keep to the memories without the piles. Proud of you TD!

  2. You tossed the Santa's Village sign???? It's easy to recycle items at Goodwill in DeKalb--drive up, they help you unload, and you're off! (I would have kept the soap bottle doll.)
